Over the years we have worked with some amazing clients and produced some great events. Below is just a small sample of some of the people we have come in contact with and what our planning services have done for them and for events we have produced ourselves. One thing we love is to see the final product after all of the hard work that has been done by them and us executing their vision. These life celebrations are everything!
Stefanie's Dinner Party
Stefanie came to us with an intimate dinner party idea. This was also around Halloween so she wanted to have a theme. The vision for this was 1950's glam. This era displayed classic fashions, music and definitely food and drink. We used gold and burgundy as the color palette for the decor and a menu that spoke to the time period. We also provided a dramatic backdrop for photo opportunities. We truly enjoyed working with Stefanie and creating the vision she had.

Marshanna + Brian
This couple was definitely one of our best. Marshanna reached out to us after finding our website online. She knew exactly what she wanted and how she wanted things to look. The planning process was very productive and as you can see by the photos, their wedding turned out to be amazingly beautiful. We added some of the decor elements and surprised them with a couple of gifts. We love how this all turned out and we think Marshanna and Brian did too!

Destiny + Tim
This young couple was a lot of fun! They hired us after getting a referral through a personal relationship with Juanita and her family. We went through a lot of changes but we came out on top! We added a sparkle to the decor of this wedding and created the reception Destiny had envisioned. They received a great life celebration with our help and the end result was simply beautiful

Wine & Whiskey
In 2018 we had an idea to offer a new type of event here in the city. One that would put a spin on the usual tasting experience and take it to another level. Everyone if familiar with the ever popular wine tastings, but including something like whiskey wasn't heard of. To top it all off, we had become very familiar with the cigar culture and wanted to add this element as well. By doing those two things we hoped to get a very diverse crowd of people both men and women to come out and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, drink a little have a cigar or two, listen to some music and some refreshments. Our inaugural event was a success and we decided to keep it as the annual event we produce as a brand. Each year we add different elements to create a different experience and so far, it's been going great.

Dionne + James
This wedding was particularly special for A Special Occasion. Danielle has known the Bride, Dionne, since they were very young children. It was an honor to be asked to be the planning company for her wedding to her beloved husband, James. This wedding was fun to plan. This couple was a joy to work with and the results were amazing. It was a nice simple ceremoney and reception and you could tell the couple was loved by so many. The color palette was a rich shade of purple and silver. The mother of the bride was instrumental in the decor and we provided all of the coordination. This was one of our favorites.

The Hartley Family
We were asked by Kevin and Terri to help them plan an engagement celebration for their son, Eric, and his lovely bride to be Natalia. They wanted it to be in their backyard and have family and friends come. We had a wonderful color palette to work with and the backyard was a great canvas. We were able to bring in some colorful design elements and we believe they had a wonderful time. This family was an absolute joy to work with and we look forward to possibly working with them in the future.

The M.A.D.E Events
Not only to we produce events for clients, every now and then we come up with an idea and work it for our brand. These events have come about for different reasons whether it is from collaborations with others, events we have hosted, or it comes from us brainstorming about an event we want to do. We have been around in this business and while and these flyers are just a little look at going beyond weddings and doing event promotion. We've had a lot of fun.
